Afrorivane is operated by Dinh Nguyen LLC. We make demi-fine jewelry for people who want the weight and finish of real metal without paying a maison markup for it.
Everything we sell is built on a core of solid 925 sterling silver, plated in 18K gold. Not gold-toned brass. Not a flash of colour over base alloy. The difference is invisible in a photograph and obvious after six months of wear.
Why Sterling Silver, Plated in 18K Gold
Most jewelry at this price is brass or zinc alloy with a thin gold-coloured coating. It looks right in the box. Then the plating wears at the contact points, the base metal shows through green or grey, and skin that reacts to nickel reacts to it.
Sterling silver behaves differently. It is hypoallergenic for most wearers, it holds a replatable surface, and when the gold layer eventually thins, what is underneath is still a precious metal rather than something that has to be thrown away.
How We Price
We do not run permanent fake discounts. You will not find a struck-through price that has never been charged. The number on the product page is the price, and it reflects what the piece costs to make rather than what a marketing calendar says this week.
Designed to Be Worn Together
Our pieces are built to layer and stack. Chain lengths are chosen so two or three necklaces sit without tangling. Ring bands are proportioned to stack on one finger. Gold, silver and rose gold are kept in the same tonal family so mixing metals reads as deliberate.
